About Dr. Abraham
Dr. Aaron L. Abraham is a board-certified psychiatrist with a diverse background in academic medicine, community service, and integrative psychiatry. He is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish.
Dr. Abraham’s commitment to understanding the complexities of the human mind began at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in the Biological Basis of Behavior. He earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He later completed his psychiatry residency through Charles Drew University, which included rotations across leading Southern California institutions.

In addition to my clinical practice, I’ve contributed to cutting-edge research at the Beckman Center for Molecular and Genetic Medicine at Stanford. My work included innovative projects on optogenetics and interkingdom signaling. I’ve also had the privilege of presenting talks to physician communities affiliated with Stanford.
Beyond research, I’m a respected speaker and have shared insights with medical professionals across various platforms. These opportunities have allowed me to collaborate, educate, and stay connected with advancements in medical science and care delivery.
I was inspired to become a physician by the deep desire to bridge the psychological and metaphysical with everyday life. My approach is centered on "whole person care"—respecting the powerful connection between mind, body, and spirit in every evaluation and interaction.
When I’m not working, I value spending time with my family and our pets. Whether it’s relaxing at home with my dogs and cat or enjoying meaningful moments with loved ones, this balance enriches the care I provide.
